It all started when i was searching for new friends on Hi5 website, i came accross a picture that caught my interest,
i read her profile, she left her number and yahoo email address on it so i decided to add her to my messenger list so that
we can chat whenever she is on line, a day came and i met her on line and we started getting to know each other, she said
her name was Tina Akpan a student of University of Uyo, i cant really get her course in school but i think its something that
has to do with arts, she is from Akpaibom a state in nigeria and she claims to be an orphan and had a child for her boyfriend
when she was a bit younger, she is 29yrs old now, though she looks younger than her age or should i say she is skinny. Somehow
we started picking interest in each another: she liked what i liked, so we talked on phone and chatted on the internet,
we planned on how we are going to meet each other, and i made arrangments for our meeting, i never knew i was dealing with
a thief who uses the internet to hook people.
We eventually met, l took her to my place that saturday night , we got talking, she told me her life story: all
she has been through in life and i felt sorry for her i never knew it was all pretence, she sounded so nice and innocent that
you will never suspect her to be a thief, later that night we had sex, she held me through out the night like someone who
has just fallen in love, the next morning we had breakfast she cleaned the house and washed the dishes, i thought in my mind
this girl is nice and down too earth, so i guess i trusted her so quickly that i left my house to a total stranger.
My boss called me to come to the office that sunday morning so i had to go and i didnt want to tell her to go just like
that, so i felt convinced with her, i left for office that morning and left her in my house, i was away for about three hours,
by the time i returned hoping to meet the person i left what did i see? my door was open, my TV, Video, VCD all gone,
i went straight to my box, my money was missing, i was shocked, i checked my hanger all the good cloths i had were gone, my
perfumes, body spray, cream, my jewelleries, my hand bag even to the extent of taking my night gown and face towel, i was
shocked, i felt so stupid for leaving my house to a stranger, i guess i have learnt my lesson.
I later called her to know were she is, and she said she is sorry she doesnt know what came over her that she will return
my things but she is scared of coming to my house so that i wont raise an alarm, well i never saw her, the next day she called
that she is travelling to cotonu and when she returns she will pay back all she took , she travelled or she switched off her
phone i dont know, since then i have not heard from her, i guess she is enjoying my wears, smelling good with perfume she
cant afford and must have finished spending the money by now
